Haunted History of Hamburg
Not for the faint of heart, this two-hour walk has been haunting adventurers for years as HH Tours’ signature experience.
We begin at the Rathaus, tracing Hamburg’s darker chapters. From outbreaks of cholera and disease to the Viking roots that shaped the city. From there, we wander toward the Domplatz, where legends linger.
As night falls, we’ll meet some of Hamburg’s more recent killers, visit the statue of the infamous pirate Klaus Störtebeker, and pass historic churches like St. Katharinen and the St. Nikolai Memorial. Along the way, you’ll hear tales of ghosts, bombs, and murder before we finish at the Trostbrücke, where whispers of witchcraft still haunt the streets.
